BOCA RATON, FL- Bluegreen Corp., a leading U.S. developer of timeshare resorts, appointed hotel industry veteran Richard Kelleher to its Board of Directors.
Kelleher was formerly president/COO of Promus Hotel Corp. During his tenure, he was responsible for all hotel management operations, including timeshare, brand marketing, sales and development.
In his new position, Kelleher fills the vacancy of Stuart Shikiar, a member of Bluegreens board that chose not to stand for re-election in August. Kelleher will serve in the class of directors whose term expires in 2003. (10/30/00)
