ATLANTA— During September, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels’ select service division helped negotiate the disposition of 10 hotels for multiple sellers. Collectively, the assets included a total of 2,612 rooms. The hotels that were sold include the 638-room Hotel Syracuse in Syracuse, NY; the 141-room Holiday Inn Express in Gadsden, AL; the 432-key Ramada Inn Woodlawn in Charlotte, NC; the 165-unit Econo Lodge in Bossier City, LA; the 330-key Lancaster Host Hotel in Lancaster, PA; the 233-unit Sturbridge Host Hotel in Sturbridge, MA; the 154-room Heritage Inn in Columbus, GA; the 218-key Marietta Garden Hotel in Marietta, GA; the 175-room Days Inn in Tampa, FL; and the 126-key Days Inn in Fort Myers, FL. Four of the transactions involved sellers that were lenders. Two of the deals involved debt assumptions, two other deals involved sellers that were public companies and the other two transactions involved private sellers. All 10 asset buyers were privately held hotel firms.
