NORTH CHARLESTON, SC—JHM Hotels has completed a transformation of the North Charleston Marriott here.
The hotel originally began as a Marriott in 1983, then evolved through many flag changes including Hilton and Sheraton. In 2013, JHM Hotels acquired the property and after a multimillion-dollar renovation, it’s being reintroduced to the market as a full-service deluxe Marriott Hotels branded property.
Set just outside of downtown Charleston, this hotel is within reach of area attractions and businesses. Upon entering the hotel, there are warm tones of wood and stone. As part of the Marriott Hotels brand transformation, the hotel has 291 reimagined guestrooms that feature modern decor, luxury bedding, wall mounted flat screen TVs with streaming services. The reimagined rooms offer a spacious and upgraded look complete with tailored solutions. Bathtubs have been replaced with deluxe walk-in showers and spa-like lighting.
The Great Room offers handcrafted cocktails and locally inspired entrees at HC Provisions, the on-site restaurant and bar. There is also an outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art 24/7 fitness center, an M Club Lounge.
The property also provides over 12,000 sq. ft. of flexible, indoor and outdoor spaces. In addition, an 84-in. touchscreen smartboard is available in the boardroom.
New to the property is HC Provisions, offering coastal fare and craft beers. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, the menu offers regionally inspired cuisine.
The Harvest Breakfast Table provides French-pressed coffee along with made-to-order omelets and waffles with syrup. There is also a coffee bar.
