PARSIPPANY, NJ—Interstate Hotels & Resorts and FFC Capital Corp. have reflagged the 22 Exel Inn hotels they acquired earlier this month to Wyndham Hotel Group brands, including Days Inn, Super 8, Baymont Inn & Suites, Howard Johnson and Travelodge. The 22 Exel Inns were sold to the Interstate-FFC Capital joint venture by Exel Inns of America, a Madison, WI-firm that owned and operated the 2,400-room portfolio across Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas and Wisconsin. As part of this portfolio-wide rebranding there are now new Days Inns in Bridgeview and Elk Grove Village, IL; and Appleton, Wausau, and Milwaukee, WI; new Baymonts in Elk Grove Village and Naperville, IL; and Madison, WI; new Super 8s in Moline and Prospect Heights, IL; Grand Rapids, MI; St. Paul, MN; as well as two in Milwaukee; new Howard Johnsons in Rockford, IL; Cedar Rapids, IA; Austin, TX; and Eau Claire and La Crosse, WI; and new Travelodges in Davenport IA; Denton, TX; and Green Bay, WI.
