MIAMI Bass Hotels & Resorts reported that it will pay a 15% commission to agency consortia, agency service providers and BTAs who book travel at any Inter-Continental Hotel and Resort in Central and South America, from January 1 through June 30,2001. “We see this initiative as an excellent venue to further introduce our expanded Inter-Continental hotels portfolio in Latin America,” says Jorge Mejia, vp/ sales & marketing at Bass Latin America. “The offer is even more compelling in light of recent commission reduction announcements throughout the travel industry.” (12/5/00)
