NEW YORK— A new unit of ING Clarion, the ING Clarion Hospitality Group, has assumed management of a portfolio of 116 Courtyard by Marriott hotels, valued by Clarion at $1.7 billion. The portfolio of hotels, which are located in 29 states, had been managed by Sarofim Realty. ING Clarion did not disclose the owner of the portfolio, but industry sources told HOTEL BUSINESS® the owner remains a consortium of pension funds.
