Industry Veteran Jay Litt Launches Consultancy Firm

BOCA RATON, FL—Hospitality industry veteran Jay Litt has launched The Litt Group (TLG), a boutique hotel capital project administration firm specializing in negotiating property improvement plans with brands, retaining purchasing and design groups, third-party report analysis, freight and warehousing logistics, and negotiation with general contractors.

“The working relationship between an owner and a brand is critical to the success of a project,” said Litt, principal. “I’ve been fortunate in my 45-year hospitality career to work on both sides of the table and can identify those items that may not be needed and not in the project scope that can add value to the asset and help increase the owner’s return on investment.”

Litt has been involved in hotel operations for more than 45 years and was most recently EVP of asset management with Waramaug Hospitality Asset Management since its formation in 2010. Prior to that, he held various positions within the industry, including GM, owner and corporate officer for both Interstate Hotels & Resorts and Patriot American/Wyndham International. While at Wyndham International, he also served as CPO where he oversaw a $500-million procurement budget.
