IIG Adds VP of Design, Business Development

DYER, IN—Hospitality design studio IIG has hired Betsy Kersting as the firm’s VP of design and business development. Previously, she served as the director of design for Fourth Dimension Designs.

With 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kersting has earned multiple awards. Some of Kersting’s notable projects include the Embassy Suites in Miami, Dallas, and Mandalay Beach (CA), as well as Wyndham on the Bay San Diego and Wyndham at the Pier Santa Monica in California.

As IIG continues to expand its portfolio of work and clientele, Kersting’s relationships in the Southwest will provide a significant impact to the boutique firm’s growing presence nationwide, according to the company. Currently IIG has studios in Indiana, Florida and Texas. 

Kersting will oversee IIG’s large-scale hospitality projects as well as building business for the company, headquartered in Indiana. She will be based in Dallas, but traveling frequently to collaborate with IIG’s project locations and its studio leadership teams.
