ATLANTA—Hotel Equities recently promoted Kevin Butler to the position of Regional Director of Operations.
He reports to Rob Cote, the firm’s VP, Operations. Butler has responsibility for the oversight of multiple brands in his region including Texas, Louisiana, Alabama and mid-western states.
“Kevin’s new role comes as a direct result of Hotel Equities’ robust growth to over 60 properties in 2014,“ stated Cote. “Kevin’s leadership, guidance and focus on success is unsurpassed. We continue to strengthen the depth of experience and leadership with his addition to our corporate team.”
Named the firm’s General Manager of the Year for 2013, Butler holds more than 20 years of hospitality experience. He previously served for three years as General Manager of the award-winning SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Lake Charles, LA.
Butler joined Hotel Equities in 2012 from Kayenta, AZ, where he served as General Manager of a Hampton Inn. Previous positions in the industry include General Manager of the SpringHill Suites Chandler, Arizona and Area Operations Manager for the Extended Stay Hotels in Phoenix, AZ.
