Hilton Appoints Kellyn Smith Kenny as CMO
Hilton has appointed Kellyn Smith Kenny as SVP and CMO, effective January 29, 2018. As VP of marketing at Uber, she led interdisciplinary marketing for the company’s most significant markets in the United States and Canada. As SVP of marketing at Capital One, she led marketing and brand strategy for the consumer banking division. While at Microsoft, she oversaw consumer-facing and retail marketing efforts in various store, consumer and B2B roles.
White Lodging Welcomes Douglas Nysse as New VP of Development
Doug Nysse has joined White Lodging as its new VP of development. He joins White Lodging from Arrival Partners, where he served as lead development executive of numerous premium-branded hotels over the last five years, most recently The Westin Milwaukee. He was principal at Kahler Slater for 17 years, where he formed and led the hospitality team working on award-winning urban developments, destination resorts and university hotels.
RAR Hospitality Expands Corporate Division
RAR Hospitality has expanded its executive team with five key appointments. The management company appointed Chris Campbell to regional chief engineer; John Lujan to regional chief engineer; Julie Inman to director of human resources; Kurtis Say to corporate account manager; and Michael De Jesus to area director of sales.
Hotel Equities Promotes Appoints New SVP of Revenue Generation
Hotel Equities recently promoted Drew Salapka to SVP of revenue generation. His responsibilities include leading the revenue generation division for the organization, which sets top-line strategy and manages the total inventory for the firm’s portfolio of hotels. Since 2014, Salapka has served as the VP of sales and revenue generation.
Westgate Resorts Continues Expansion with New Executive Appointments
Westgate Resorts has named Jared Saft as chief business officer; Tom Spark as SVP of resort operations; Brian Waltrip as VP of resort operations, Mara Frazier as VP of community and public affairs; and Bob Cahill as VP of security.
Bizimply Appoints Conor Shaw as CEO
Bizimply has appointed Conor Shaw as CEO. His previous roles have included managing director of EMEA at Marketo; VP of SME, mid-market and partner channels at SAP; regional VP of inside sales of EMEA at SAP; chief operating officer of global inside sales at SAP; managing director and founder at 3rdSpace; and VP of Oracle University and senior director at Oracle Direct.
