SILVERTHORNE, CO—Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Silverthorne, an 88-room hotel located at the Silverthorne exit off I-70 here, has opened. The hotel is owned and operated by Silverwest Hotels of Denver. The hotel is the only Hampton property that serves the nearby Summit County ski areas including Breckenridge, Keystone, Arapahoe Basin and Copper Mountain.
“This is the first new, nationally branded hotel in the Silverthorne-Dillon market in over 14 years,” said Edward Mace, president and CEO of Silverwest Hotels. “With the Town of Silverthorne as the hub, skiers and riders have their choice between the Summit County resorts, as well as nearby Vail Mountain.”
This is Silverwest’s second hotel to open near a Colorado ski area in less than 10 days and the third new hotel in Colorado in less than a month. On Dec. 8, Silverwest opened the Element by Westin in Basalt, near Aspen and Snowmass. In addition, Silverwest recently announced the acquisition of The Inverness Hotel on Nov. 23.
Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Silverthorne offers amenities such as free WiFi; a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing; 600 sq. ft. of meeting space that can accommodate up to 75 people; a fitness center; on-site laundry facilities; and an indoor swimming pool and whirlpool tub. The hotel also provides free On the House hot breakfasts, as well as Hampton’s On the Run Breakfast Bags, available Monday through Friday.
The new hotel features the Perfect Mix Lobby and The Suite Shop, a new food and beverage shop filled with snacks, toiletries, local merchandise and drinks for purchase. Guestrooms are equipped with the brand’s signature Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed, LCD flat-screen TV, refrigerator, coffeemaker and work desk. Suites are also available, offering additional space, microwaves and a sleeper sofa.
