glh. Debuts Luxury Hotel and Private Residences Brand

Glh. has introduced the Clermont brand.

LONDON—glh., the global hotel subsidiary of GuocoLeisure Group, launched a luxury hotel and private residences brand, Clermont.

According to Mike DeNoma, CEO of glh., “Clermont is a vibrant entrant to the global luxury hotel market. The glh. ambition is to open hotels in all of the top 30 global cities and today’s announcement reinforces the scale of this ambition.”

Clermont is launching with three developments on two continents with a gross development value of $3.2 billion. The launch comprises a conversion of an already-owned hotel in London and two new management contracts in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

Clermont London-The Royal Horseguards will become Clermont London in 2014 after comprehensive renovation. Clermont Singapore will form part of the integrated mixed-use development Tanjong Pagar Centre, due to open in 2016. Clermont Kuala Lumpur will be situated within Damansara City on a freehold site in Damansara Heights, part of a mixed development to open in 2016.
