Georgia Looks to Add More Touerist Destinations Catching Interest of Developers

Atlanta–A bill in the Georgia legislature designed to attract more tourist destinations to the state has already succeeded in catching the eye of developers, even before becoming law. According to backers of the Georgia Tourism Development Act, or House Bill 451, more than $2 billion worth of tourism developments have been pledged to the state, including a new hotel-conference center near Lake Lanier and an indoor ski resort in North Georgia.
