SAN FRANCISCO— The former Argent Hotel has reopened here as the Westin San Francisco Market Street. Highgate Holdings, Whitehall Street Global Real Estate Limited Partnership 2005 and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. partnered in the conversion. The conversion entailed the extensive renovation of the hotel’s 676 guestrooms and suites, restaurant and bar, lobby and entryway. The project also added new outdoor dining and lounge space along with a fire pit as well as 3,000 square feet of additional meeting space. Architectural firm Hornberger + Worstell and interior design firm Alamosa Design Associates, Inc. led the redesign of the hotel.
