MIAMI— Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts opened its first property here on Brickell Ave. today, a 221-room hotel housed within the 70-story Four Seasons Hotel and Towers, a mixed-use development that includes condominiums, retail and office space and which is now the city’s tallest building. The hotel’s seventh floor, two-acre Bahia Terrace, features three large swimming pools, shaded alcoves and a poolside bar. Overlooking the Terrace, the Acqua restaurant features Northern Italian cuisine and an extensive wine list. Cocktails are available at 14-Thirty-Five Bar, named after the hotel’s street number. Guests also have access to the spa and fitness facilities of the 44,000-square-foot Sports Club/LA, located within the building. An entire floor of the hotel is dedicated to meetings, events and special occasions with 14,210 square feet of function space. Meeting rooms are grouped around an atrium courtyard with a promenade, providing natural light in much of the meeting space. The 5,830-square-foot ballroom can host events for up to 670 persons.
