Flatotel Taps Connolly For Sales Position

NEW YORK— The Flatotel here has appointed John Connolly as director of business sales. The 288-room hotel is located in midtown Manhattan. Connolly has more than15 years of sales and hospitality experience. He most recently served as the director of sales for the Buckingham Hotel in Manhattan. In other experiences at hotels in New York City, he was senior sales manager at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel, international sales manager for Best Western President Hotel, director of sales for Hotel Wolcott and supervisor at the Dumont Plaza Hotel. Located at 135 W. 52nd St., Flatotel has 8,400 sf of meeting and function space, a fitness center, a business center, 24-hour room service and concierge services and MODA, an Italian restaurant.
