NEW YORK— West 35th Street is the site of the first Wingate Inn, not only in New York but in any city center location. The 92-room, newly constructed hotel, which is officially named the Wingate Inn Manhatan Midtown, is owned by Ocean King, LLC, based in Staten Island, NY. The Wingate brand is part of the Wyndham Hotel Group. The new property joins a system of 154 hotels, accounting for 14,171 rooms, in the U.S. and Canada.
