NEWPORT BEACH, CA— The opening of the new Willow Stream spa at the Fairmont Newport Beach marks the completion of a $32-million, multi-phase renovation at the property. The 8,000-square-foot spa offers seven treatment rooms appointed with oversized spa beds and a private lounge. The spa menu is designed to cater to hotel guests as well as local residents, according to spa director Mimi Cozzi. She noted there is a separate spa menu for men. To amplify the spa experience, guests can reserve one of the poolside cabanas as their own private relaxation area after their treatments, Cozzi added. Previously, guestrooms and the lobby at the 440-room property were refurbished and a new restaurant, business center and fitness center were added. The pool was also redesigned.
