DALLAS Fairmont Hotels & Resorts entered into a multi-year, multi-million dollar marketing agreement with LifeCast, a provider of online services for private clubs and their members. In addition, an affiliate of Fairmont has invested $3 million into the online company. As part of a multi-million dollar, five-year agreement, LifeCast will provide Fairmont properties with marketing services and preferred advertising on its affiliate club websites. The deal gives Fairmont an indirect equity interest in LifeCast and also designates Chris Cahill, Fairmont s president/COO, as a director on LifeCasts board of directors. (12/19/00)
