TROY, MI—Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott is scheduled to open here on Nov. 21, with a new public space and guestroom design.
The 90-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Troy will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Troy Hotels, Inc. and managed by A&M Hospitality Services, Inc. of Madison Heights, MI. This is the first Fairfield Inn & Suites in the area to feature the brand’s new design and decor.
Upon arrival, there is an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and a glass entrance. Once inside, the public space is open and has natural light and views throughout the lobby. The lobby area is a modern and flexible environment with a natural color palette of green, blue and orange. Within the space, there are standing and seated internet stations. The lobby’s living area has a natural stone hearth, organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair. Nearby, a complimentary breakfast is served at the signature farm table, and the 24/7 Corner Market is available for snacks or drinks.
Designed to be flexible and functional, guestrooms include a work area, an ergonomic chair and task lighting. Inspired by nature, the room decor blends wood tones with bright pops of color. There is also a couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave.
Amenities include an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi, fax and copy services as well as meeting space that can accommodate up to 76 people.
