SANTA CRUZ, CA—The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Santa Cruz here, developed and operated by Lotus Management, Inc., has unveiled its new guestroom design.

Located at 2956 Mission St., the property is accessible to the University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and the city’s shopping district.

“Delivering both function and comfort, our new design and decor elevates the Fairfield brand, setting a new standard in the moderate lodging category,” said Sita Patel, regional director of operations, Lotus Management, Inc. “At Fairfield Inn & Suites, we provide an easy, positive and productive travel experience, as well as the promise of consistent and reliable service at an exceptional value. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Santa Cruz is a truly stunning example of the brand’s contemporary new look and feel.”

The refreshed guestrooms include a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and a number of electrical outlets. Inspired by nature, the hotel rooms and suites place the living and working area near the window to allow for more natural light and views. Building on this natural design, the room decor features organic patterns and wood tones blended with bright pops of color.

The new design also places the sleeping area toward the middle of the room, while a living area offers a couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave. The bath features massage showerheads and curated amenities.

Additional amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, internet access in all guestrooms and public spaces, onsite business center, a conference room, fitness center and swimming pool.
