SEATTLE—The Dow Hotel Company has completed a nearly $7 million, 18-month makeover of the Lakeway Resort and Spa in Austin, TX.
Murray Dow II, founder and president, noted the extensive renovation was undertaken in phases to eliminate guest disruption and enhance revenues. Public spaces were totally refreshed and all 168 rooms and suites were completely revitalized from carpeting to furniture.
“Virtually every aspect of the resort has been upgraded, from the roof to the flooring and everything in between,” stated Dow of the hotel, which is located on the shores of Lake Travis just outside of Austin, TX.
