LONDON—Dorchester Collection has a new source for guests to uncover sights and scenes within some of the world’s most historic cities: #DCmoments City Guides, a digital amenity created through collaboration between the hotels of Dorchester Collection and selected Instagram content creators for travel and lifestyle posts on social media.
Helen Smith, chief guest experience officer of Dorchester Collection said, “Instagram is inspiring more and more people in everyday life and travel: We wanted to create unforgettable experiences not only in our hotels but also within their cities where guests could photograph and share on their social media profiles. The #DCmoments City Guides include recommendations on a digital map of a series of Instagrammable sights, as well as details on how to access them.”
#DCmoments City Guides point guests precisely where they should go to explore and engage with their surroundings. Available immediately to guests and accessible via complimentary download from the website, the new #DCmoments City Guides for London, Paris, Milan, Rome and Los Angeles not only enhance the value of a Dorchester Collection hotel stay, but also promote the distinctive beauty and culture of the destinations with tips from the content creators and an interactive map of the locations. The guides are optimized to be consulted the Apple Book application for iPhones and iPads.
To compile its #DCmoments City Guides, Dorchester Collection has collaborated with Pathport, an invitation-only collective of creative influencers. Beyond their followings on social media, all of the contributing content creators are known for their artistic taste, photographic talent and insider knowledge to enable guests to explore their destination like a local.
