ENGLEWOOD, CO- Destination Hotels & Resorts was selected to manage the Pointe South Mountain Resort in Phoenix. The hotel, owned by MONY/PSM Properties, offers 640 suites. It is currently undergoing enhancements, including a transformation of the grounds between the hotels three main buildings into a promenade with fountains, gardens, and sculptured walkways. Other enhancements at the hotel, such as a rooms renovation, will be carried out over the next year.
A new Managing Director, Ron Oldstad, was named at the resort to oversee the vision and positioning of the property. (8/21/00)
