CLEVELAND Opening day for the Hilton Garden Inn at Gateway here has been delayed by eight months because of design changes that will add a lounge and boardroom to the 11-story hotel. The changes also will push the cost of the 240-room project from $22 million to $25 million.

The Hilton at Gateway, owned by 1100 Carnegie Limited LLC, is now scheduled to open in Janauary 2002 rather than May 2001. Gateway Hospitality is co-developer, partner and co-owner of the hotel and will manage the property once it is open. (1/17/01)
