CLIFTON PARK, NY—Courtyard by Marriott Clifton Park is scheduled to open its doors in Clifton Park, NY, on July 27. Located at 627 Plank Rd., the 130-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Clifton Park Hotel Partners, LLC, and managed by Rockgate Management Company of Overland Park, KS. The Courtyard Clifton Park is accessible to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Race Track and the Times Union Center.
The property will feature a new lobby space as well as the brand’s latest contemporary room design, which offers hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready. Other design features include indirect lighting and a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette and flexible spaces such as the ‘Luggage Drop,’ where bags may be stored and the “Tech Drop,” where personal devices may be charged.

Signature furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art in the new guestroom. The “LoungeAround” sofa offers a pop of color and an area for relaxing or working. The new design also features a smart television and a light desk on wheels. Upgraded bathrooms include a “Shower Nook” that houses shampoos and towels.
The hotel also offers the Refreshing Business lobby environment that features media pods, complimentary WiFi and a variety of seating zones. The lobby also features The Bistro–Eat. Drink. Connect, which offers options for breakfast and light evening fare that includes snacks, cocktails, wine and beer.
The business library houses several computer terminals, along with a printer and separate computer stations for printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status. Throughout the hotel are ample electrical outlets.
The four-story hotel features an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor patio with a fire pit, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 1,781 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 100 people.
