MORGANTOWN, WV—Courtyard by Marriott Morgantown is scheduled to open here on April 2. The hotel features Courtyard’s latest contemporary room design.
The property is located at 460 Courtyard St. With 107-rooms, the hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, managed by InterMountain Management, LLC of Monroe, LA. The Courtyard Morgantown is near Monongalia County Ballpark – home of the West Virginia Black Bears, West Virginia University, Mylan Park and Coopers Rock State Forest.
The latest room design offers hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready, plus indirect lighting and a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette.
“Today’s technology has changed how people travel. Our guests want a room that has purpose and flexibility that enables a seamless transition between relaxing and working. Courtyard is designed to offer them a relaxing and functional space to work the way they want to, when they want to,” said Callette Nielsen, VP and global brand manager, Courtyard.
The five-story hotel features an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor courtyard with a fire pit, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 1,200 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 100 people.
