The hotel’s exterior and roof suffered minor damage, and the hotel is fully operational now that power has been restored. The Hampton Inn Fort Lauderdale-Cypress Creek’s roof system has sustained widespread damage. The hotel’s first-floor door was also sigificantly damaged, which led to water intrusion.
