Choice Hotels Promotes Angelique Kelly-Lara
Choice Hotels International has promoted Angelique Kelly-Lara to VP of global talent acquisition. She has been a member of the hospitality group’s human resources team since 2014, most recently serving as senior director of human resources. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, she held leadership positions at McDonald’s Corporation, most recently serving as director, human resources and employee relations for the U.S. business. Earlier in her career, she held similar positions at Aramark Corporation, Banker’s Life and Casualty Company.
Two Roads Hospitality Appoints Craig A. Waterman as VP of Openings, Transitions
Two Roads Hospitality has appointed Craig A. Waterman as VP of openings and transitions. He joined Two Roads Hospitality in 2014 as GM of Hotel Kabuki, a Joie de Vivre property in San Francisco, and regional director of operations. Prior to joining Two Roads Hospitality, Waterman served as the transitions and acquisitions leader for Gemstone Resorts. Throughout his 30 years in the hospitality industry, Waterman also has experience working with various luxury properties and brands, including The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona, Sé San Diego Hotel and the Shore Club in Miami Beach, FL.
Chesapeake Hospitality Promotes Mark Williams
Chesapeake Hospitality has promoted Mark Williams to regional VP of operations. As regional VP of operations, he will oversee a hotel portfolio consisting of upper-upscale and luxury hotels. With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he joined Chesapeake Hospitality in 2011 as GM at its Hilton Philadelphia Airport hotel. Most recently, he served as the GM at the company’s Georgian Terrace Hotel.
