ROCKVILLE, MD—Choice Hotels International, Inc. has signed an agreement with franchise partner SpringBridge Development LLC and management partner Raines Hospitality to develop a new Cambria Hotel & Suites in North Charleston, SC.
The 124-room Cambria Hotel & Suites North Charleston will be a short distance from Charleston International Airport. Slated to open in late 2017, the hotel is in a community with parks, gardens and historical sites, as well as cultural attractions including museums, theaters and art galleries.
“North Charleston is one of the fastest-growing communities in the United States, which makes the city a perfect match for the Cambria Hotels & Suites brand as we continue our expansion throughout the country,” said Janis Cannon, SVP, upscale brands at Choice Hotels. “We are elated to bring our brand to South Carolina and know this Cambria hotel will be the perfect choice for business and leisure travelers visiting the area.”

All Cambria properties feature a larger lobby; oversized rooms with flexible spaces; and the latest technology. Amenities will include a contemporary bistro, Social Circle, serving a menu comprised of local specialties created by Chef Michael DeMaria; liquor, wine, beer and grab-and-go salads and sandwiches; and a barista bar. This property will also offer a large meeting space, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
