NEW YORK Cendant Corp. said that it projects earnings per share (EPS) from continuing operations, including benefits of the pending acquisitions of Avis Group and Fairfield Communities and excluding move.com s operating results and the impact of the sale to Homestore.com, to be $0.91 in 2001. The company projects adjusted EPS to be $0.14 in the first quarter and $0.25 in the second quarter of 2001. Projections for the second, third and fourth quarter of 2001 are dependent upon the timing of completion of the pending acquisitions and are subject to change based upon Cendant s ongoing review of those companies 2001 business plans.
