ANAHEIM, CA Following an expansion scheduled for completion on Christmas Day, the Anaheim Convention Center in Orange County, CA will be the largest convention center on the West Coast. The expanded Anaheim Convention Center will have 815,000 square feet of exhibit space passing the Los Angeles Convention Center, which has about 720,000 square feet of exhibit space.

The $180 million addition expanded the center by about 40%. In addition to new exhibit space, the buildings were given a modern green-and-white fagade. The lobby is three stories high and extends down four of the five exhibit halls. (12/19/00)
