MINNEAPOLIS—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has named Alissa Montbriand VP, global integrated marketing communications reporting to Roger Chacko, EVP and chief branding and marketing officer.
Montbriand will be responsible for the brand digital channels and Club Carlson, the group’s loyalty program. She will lead the creation and execution of strategic digital marketing programs that build consumer awareness and engagement, and be responsible for delivering an exceptional experience and drive loyalty for the Carlson Rezidor brands globally.
Montbriand joins Carlson Rezidor from Bloomin’ Brands, Inc., where she oversaw and integrated digital strategy across websites, apps, email, social and in-restaurant technologies. Prior to that, she served as director, global social media and content marketing at Staples, Inc., developing the road map for social media, content creation and governance across the company’s global digital properties, realizing a 300% increase in traffic to Staples.com editorial content. She has also held positions at PetSmart, Inc. and Best Buy Mobile.
Montbriand holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.
