ATLANTA—InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened the new-build 120-room Staybridge Suites Seattle-Fremont hotel in the Seattle neighborhood of Fremont. The community, known as the “Center of the Universe,” is home to art, boutiques and restaurants located alongside newcomers in the tech industry. The hotel is located near the University of Washington, Facebook’s new offices on Dexter Ave. and major technology companies including Adobe and Google.
Robert Radomski, VP, brand management, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites brands, said: “We are thrilled to now offer the home-like and community living experience that the Staybridge Suites brand is known for to those who are visiting the Fremont area. The hotel’s location will attract a mix of leisure weekend travelers and long-term guests in the tech industry, making it ideal for the Staybridge Suites brand.”
The new property offers a mix of studio and one- and two-bedroom/two-bathroom suites, along with more than 1,550 sq. ft. of meeting space and a 2,000-sq.-ft. rooftop deck overlooking the city. Amenities such as a complimentary daily hot breakfast buffet and evening reception, daily housekeeping, guest laundry room, fitness center, indoor pool, 24-hour business center and outdoor living room with barbecue and fire pit are available.
Vicky Miron, general manager, said: “We believe the unique offerings of the Staybridge Suites brand are a strong fit for this market. Summer is one of the best times of year to visit Seattle because of the mild weather and cooler temperatures. We look forward to accommodating these guests while they see everything the city has to offer.”
The hotel, located at 3926 Aurora Ave. North, is owned and managed by Olympic Hospitality, LLC.
