Carlson Rezidor Group Appoints Chief Branding and Marketing Officer

MINNEAPOLIS—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group appointed Roger Chacko as EVP and chief branding and marketing officer reporting to David P. Berg, CEO, Carlson Hospitality Group.

Chacko joined the company in 2014 on an interim basis and is responsible for all aspects of marketing and brand performance worldwide for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and its brands, including Quorvus Collection, Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, Park Inn by Radisson and Country Inns & Suites by Carlson. He also oversees Club Carlson, the company’s loyalty program, market research, brand management, creative services, digital marketing and partnership marketing.

Chacko has more than 25 years of senior global leadership experience. Prior to Carlson Rezidor, he served as chief strategy officer for Bloomin’ Brands Inc., where he co-developed the company’s international expansion plan, created the analytics function, and set the foundation for new digital marketing capabilities. He has also held senior leadership roles with United Services Automobile Association (USAA), Kimberly-Clark, Mars, Danone, ConAgra and Kellogg’s.
