CHICAGO— The InterContinental Chicago recently welcomed Edward Andrews as its new general manager. Andrews brings to his position more than 25 years of experience in the U.S. and abroad. Most recently, he was general manager of the InterContinental Los Angeles Century City. Andrews began his career as an assistant food and beverage manager at the InterContinental Houston shortly after his graduation from Yale University. He subsequently held positions as food and beverage director, hotel manager and general manager for properties as geographically diverse as the Castellana InterContinental Madrid, Hyatt Regency Casablanca, Hyatt Regency Belgrade and Hyatt Regency Brussels Barsey.
