ATLANTA—Hospitality Lodging Systems (HLS), based here, and Wisconsin-based Vishav Hotels, Inc., have signed a long-term licensing agreement that makes HLS the exclusive franchise and management firm for the AmeriVu Inn & Suites brand, effective March 1.
In the process, HLS assumes management responsibility for the five existing AmeriVu properties—four in Wisconsin and one in Ohio—with one additional property opening in Minnesota in March.
“AmeriVu was founded by owners to serve owners—it represents a return to the basics that are too often forgotten by big franchisors,” said Nick Rai, CEO of Vishav Hotels, who started the AmeriVu brand last year. “HLS—under the direction of Doug and Neil Collins, with whom we have enjoyed previous business success—provides proven expertise and experience such as personnel, infrastructure and programs that can immediately impact our growth and profitability.”
This agreement adds a third upper-economy limited-service brand for HLS. The company currently has a portfolio of 29 Budgetel properties and five Haven Hotel properties.
