CLEVELAND—The new-build, 35-room Americas Best Value Inn & Suites in Houston has opened.
The hotel is located on Highway 6 off the Westpark Tollway. The hotel features Southwest designs and guestrooms that include 50-in., flat-panel satellite TVs and mini fridges. Free continental breakfast and WiFi, and business services, are also offered.
“ABVI is a good product and the corporate team has been so easy to work with—from when we signed with the brand through the construction and opening process. Just great support whenever we need it. We are all so pleased with how the hotel turned out and, over the first three weeks that we were open, it’s been sold out all but two days,” said owner Sharin “Sunny” Patel, who also designed the property.
Six other ABVIs are being built in Houston, in addition to two in Humble, TX; one in Galveston, TX; one in Horn Lake, MS; and one in Prairieville, LA. Four of the properties (Houston FM 529, Houston NW, Galveston and Horn Lake) are expected to open within the next two months.
“Hotel owners have found our flexibility very appealing, and realize that it is a reflection of our culture that puts us in their shoes. Our approach to new-builds is just another example of how we focus on our members’ performance and continue to provide progressive, revenue-generating programs and comprehensive resources that help our hotel owners succeed,” said Patrick Mullinix, the group president of Vantage Hotels’ value brands.
A total of 11 other ABVI hotels are in various stages of being built.
