RALEIGH, NC—Alliance Hospitality has named EJ Schanfarber as president and CEO.
Schanfarber brings more than 30 years of industry experience to Alliance Hospitality. Prior to joining the company, he served as president/CEO of Divi Resorts, overseeing development and management of destination resorts in the Caribbean. Schanfarber also held executive-level positions with Remington Hotels, Extended Stay America, Omni Hotels & Resorts and other hospitality firms.
His background covers all sectors of the hospitality industry, including full-service and select-service hotels, as well as extended-stay hotels and lifestyle or destination resorts. Schanfarbe also worked with major hotel franchisors, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., Choice Hotels International, Wyndham Worldwide and Carlson Hotels & Resorts.
