FAIRFAX, VA—Crescent Hotels & Resorts has named Michael Metcalf as the company’s COO. A veteran hotelier, Metcalf possesses more than 25 years of hotel investment, underwriting, asset management and operations experience ranging from resort, luxury, upper-upscale, convention, golf and condominium hotels.
Metcalf began his career at Crescent Hotels & Resorts more than 10 years ago and has held various positions within the company including VP of business development, VP of operations, SVP of operations, EVP of operations and EVP.
Metcalf’s new role as COO will position him to be more engaged with Crescent’s capital partner relations, hotel investment strategy, asset management oversight and securing management contracts.
