WAHSINGTON, D.C. The American Hotel & Motel Association (AH&MA), via its allied membership program, and the International Society of Hospitality Purchasers (ISHP), have formed a strategic alliance to improve the hotel purchasing function between vendors, suppliers, and purchasing professionals. AH&MA s allied members represent nearly 1,000 of the leading suppliers of products and services the U.S. lodging industry. ISHP members spend approximately $4 billion per year in the hospitality industry.
The two groups will meet for the first time at a private charity fundraiser reception on Friday, November 10, 2000, in New York City. Attendees will contribute $2,500 to attend the event with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Camp Pacific Heartland, a Los Angeles-area nonprofit organization. (9/29/00)
