ST. PAUL, MN—The 2016 AmericInn Convention and Tradeshow, held at the InterContinental St. Paul, opened today celebrating the theme of “Shining Bright.” Brand leaders gave attendees reasons to celebrate recognizing the company’s achievements from last year.

“Our brand enjoyed a record-setting year in 2015,” said Paul Kirwin, president and CEO, Nortcott Hospitality, the parent company of AmericInn. “We achieved new highs in areas of our business.”

RevPAR grew about 4% within the past year and system-wide revenue jumped to an all-time high of $218 million. Additionally, occupancy went up to 70%, and system-wide ADR climbed to $92.

“The power and scope of the brand continues to expand year after year,” said Kirwin. “We’re serving more guests than we have before. Our hotels are more profitable than ever before. These are great indicators to the future health of our brand. Our success isn’t just a function of a strong economy. Our STR-market share index was up to 111%. That continues to rise, and that’s the highest level that we’ve ever been.”

AmericInn set another record with 52% of revenue coming through the brand’s central reservation system and loyalty program, Easy Rewards. The brand also rolled out Easy Reward’s elite program in 2015 to provide added recognition for valued guests.

Revenue generating from AmericInn.com rose 13%—another all-time high. The website experienced a 36% increase in site visits with almost five million visits to the site in the past year. Visitation and booking jumped dramatically with a 36% increase.

“To generate strong results like this requires hard work and commitment in every area of our brand,” said Kirwin. “We operate in a highly competitive world. We have to fight for every customer and when we have them, we have to deliver the best in service so we win them over. In 2015, you were shining bright.”
