DENVER—Greenwood Hospitality Group has acquired the DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport hotel.

The 302-room DoubleTree Wichita Airport is the city’s second-largest hotel. It’s also in close proximity to Wichita Mid-Continent Airport terminals and Interstate 235. The property includes Legends Restaurant, a fitness center and an indoor pool. Additional amenities include 22,000 sq. ft. of meeting space and a business center.

Commenting on the acquisition, Greenwood Principal Aik Hong Tan stated, “The DoubleTree Wichita Airport hotel is an exceptional property that consistently earns ‘best-in-class’ rankings from guests. As the latest addition to our growing portfolio, it is indicative of Greenwood’s objective to identify and facilitate the acquisition of first-class real estate in markets where there is opportunity for growth. As a part of our acquisition strategy Greenwood will implement a targeted renovation to the hotel with a focus on enhancing the guest experience and further elevating the excellent reputation the hotel currently enjoys.”
