DoubleTree by Hilton Opens Third Hotel in Tanzania

DUBAI—Hilton Worldwide has opened the DoubleTree by Hilton Zanzibar – Stone Town here.

The hotel, which is the brand’s third hotel to open in the country, is located some 40 miles off the coast of mainland Tanzania and within the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Stone Town. The property features a selection of 58 rooms, 41 of which are standard rooms, along with 13 deluxe, one accessible, and three one-bedroom suites.

“Stone Town is a city of prominent historical and artistic importance, and we are proud to enter as the first internationally-branded hotel in the city,” stated John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton.
