SOUTHFIELD, MI— TechTeam Global, Inc. has signed a contract with Galaxy Hotel Systems, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. to assist Galaxy in the deployment of its Galaxy LightSpeed(R) application— a software-based property management system— at up to 350 hotels under the Starwood umbrella. The contract calls for TechTeam, a global provider of information technology and business process outsourcing support services, and Galaxy to begin the deployment in the spring of 2005, and to complete the project by the end of the year. Under terms of the deal, TechTeam will provide up to 36 trainers, three interface specialists, and three project coordinators to work with Galaxys internal IT team.
