PORTLAND, OR—Dossier, part of Provenance Hotels’ independent collection, is slated to open on August 1. Upon opening, the 205-room upscale hotel located at SW Park Ave. and SW Alder St. in the heart of downtown will be reminiscent of a private club, offering bespoke hospitality, design and service, according to the company.
Guestrooms will have images by Slim Aarons, a photographer who befriended the 20th century’s elite crowd and documented their lives. The hotel will feature Provenance Hotels’ signature sleep experience, which includes down comforters, Mascioni linens and duvet covers made of 100% Supima cotton percale, Beautyrest pillowtop mattresses and an EnduroTech foundation.
Other in-room amenities will include down pillows, or a selection from the pillow menu, Tivoli clock radios, books of faith, delivery of Portland’s famed Salt & Straw ice cream, eco-friendly bath products from Lather, complimentary Shinola bicycles for guests to borrow, and guestroom honor bars stocked with locally made snacks, wines, craft beers and spirits distilled here.
