CAYCE, SC—Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Cayce is scheduled to open here on June 6, with a new lobby space as well as the brand’s contemporary room design. Located at 1125 Fort Congaree Trail, the 100-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Raines Hospitality of Florence, SC.
Upon arrival, bags can be stored on the Luggage Drop and personal devices can be plugged into the Tech Drop ledge. The latest room design offers hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready. There is also indirect lighting and a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette. Signature furniture and architectural elements replace traditional art in the new guestroom. Other elements include the Lounge Around sofa, which offers a pop of color, and a light desk on wheels. The bathroom has a Shower Nook with shampoos and towels.
Elsewhere, there is the Refreshing Business lobby environment, which provides media pods, complimentary WiFi and a variety of seating zones. The lobby also has The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect for quick bites.
In addition, the four-story hotel includes an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center and guest laundry, and offers 636 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 70 people.
