DALLAS—Hospitality Management Corporation has added Brady Armstrong as area director of sales. He will be responsible for top-line revenue for a select group of HMC-managed hotels in the oil and gas regions of South and West Texas. He will also oversee sales and marketing efforts, inclusive of weekly sales calls, account positioning, reporting and facilitating cross-sell opportunities.

Armstrong will provide strategic key account management for targeted oil and shale accounts ensuring symbiotic relationships are shared across the HMC oil and gas hotel portfolio. He has an expansive background within this industry, formerly having held positions with Petroleum Landman, based in Lafayette, LA, overseeing oil and gas  projects—lease negotiations, research, surveys, title research, etc.—across several states including the Permian Basin in West Texas. Armstrong brings to HMC an in-depth knowledge of the oil and gas industry, specific knowledge of the areas HMC is operating in and extensive partnership relationships, according to the company.

“Brady is going to be an amazing addition to our team,” said Del Robinette, VP of sales and marketing. “With his extensive experience and long-term relationships in the petroleum industry, he is ideally suited to drive our hotel objectives in the Eagle Ford, Permian Basin and Texas oil and shale development play/areas within the state of Texas.”
