NATIONAL REPORT—Led by an industry veteran, Sightline Hospitality enters the hospitality space. In addition, two hotels are under new management.

Meet Sightline Hospitality

Hotel management company Kokua Hospitality LLC has joined forces with the experiential travel visionaries Filament Hospitality to become Sightline Hospitality. The hybrid third-party management company brings together people, places and possibilities to redefine hotel management.

Kokua Hospitality brings more than 15 years of experience as an institutional third-party hotel management company, with a primary focus on branded, soft-branded, and independent hotels. Filament Hospitality offers a wealth of experience working with private investors to manage independent hotels. Filament’s focus on bespoke, experiential travel has redefined the guest experience, according to the company.

Sightline Hospitality aims to connect people with the places they’re traveling to by working with owners and investors of all sizes to explore possibilities and maximize returns.

“Hotel stays have always been about the experience, but today’s guests require hoteliers to think beyond four walls,” said Sightline Hospitality President Kirk Pederson, a 30-year veteran of hospitality and lodging. “The market is telling us that experiential travel is more than a trend—it’s a necessity. Whether staying in branded, soft-branded or independent hotels, guests are seeking out experiences. Sightline Hospitality fulfills that need by combining the unique strengths of the Kokua and Filament teams.”

In other news, here’s a look at hotels under new management:

HMC is one of the country’s largest third-party privately held hotel management companies.

Amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, WiFi, parking and indoor pool, Whirlpool, fitness and business centers, as well as room service. The hotel also offers meeting and event space for local business or personal event planning.
