Zucchetti North America, the North American outpost of the Italian-based Zucchetti Group, has formed, headed by Lodgical Solution (formerly, Baylakes Information Systems) and, soon, Vertical Booking USA. Zucchetti has been one of the most respected IT software and ICT development companies in Europe for many years—in 2020, the turnover was one billion euros (about $1.8 billion) and the company has passed the milestone of 700,000 customers—but this is the company’s first move into the North American market.
Currently, Zucchetti North America’s focus is offering solutions for the hospitality market but, in the future, the company will also expand to offer solutions for other industries—including HR, ERP, workforce management, etc.—to North American companies. Zucchetti North America will be selling Vertical Booking USA’s suite of reservations solutions and Lodgical Solution PMS to hotels and other lodging providers across North America.

Zucchetti North America is based in Portland, OR, also known as Silicon Forest because of the large number of high-tech companies located in the area, including tech giants such as Intel, Airbnb, Apple Inc., eBay, Microsoft, Salesforce.com, among many others.
